
Biography
Conor Buckley is a musician based out of Los Angeles. He currently owns and operates Conor Buckley Music, LLC. He received his degree in music from Tufts University in Boston, MA where he first started his private teaching practice. Conor has a strong classical foundation. He grew up as a classically trained pianist in Washington, DC, but is passionate about all music. He has taught students of all ages on composing, arranging, and performing.

Experience
Buckley has been playing and performing for over 15 years. He received his Music Degree from Tufts University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He studied under the German-Chinese classical pianist Thomas Stumpf; Mozarteum graduate and recipient of the Bösendorfer Prize in Vienna in 1970 amongst other career achievements. Conor was the recipient of the 2014 Etta and Harry Winokur Award for Outstanding Contribution to Performance. He has composed commercially, for film, and has been featured in numerous television ads in addition to composing and producing for enjoyment. While in D.C. he was a manager of the city's only full service music facility. At this position he serviced and repaired hundreds of instruments as well as managing over 600 weekly music lessons for the school. While there he was also the print music manager, working directly with sheet music publishers from around the globe. He opened his first private teaching practice in Boston, MA and brought that practice to Washington D.C. where he expanded his business. Conor composed and performed the score of Rob Jackson's film, Fortune, which premiered in May of 2017.
